Ryan Tung, B.Comm, AACI, P.App
Background
Ryan Tung joined the firm in 2001 after graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Commerce (Urban Land Economics) degree. He obtained his AACI, P. App designation in 2004, soon after which he moved to Hong Kong where he ran his own import/export and trading business. Drawn by his passion for real estate, he returned to the firm in the beginning of 2006, and became a principal in 2008.
Ryan Tung has undertaken a wide array of assignments relating to commercial and residential properties, including office buildings, shopping centres/retail complexes, development sites, and multi-family residential. He has been involved with several large-scale mixed-use projects where several asset classes are represented, including the Woodward’s redevelopment, Jameson House, The Ritz-Carlton, The Hotel Georgia, and Millennium Water. Ryan Tung is often engaged to consult and offer advice on development strategies, unit size/layout/design, and pricing for proposed multi-family projects, as well as undertake feasibility and sensitivity analysis for developable land. He also has experience with expropriation cases and consulting on property tax issues, and focuses primarily on the Metro Vancouver, Victoria, and Nanaimo markets.
