Lonnie Neufeld, B.Comm. (U.B.C.), RI, AACI, P.App

Background

Mr. Neufeld has been a principal of Burgess, Cawley, Sullivan & Associates since May, 2005. Mr. Neufeld originally joined the firm in 1980 when he was with the firm for four years before entering the commercial mortgage sector where he worked for seven years dividing his time between Montreal Trust Company and Sun Life Assurance of Canada. In particular, he has specialized in the industrial and commercial sectors, including valuation exercises as well as highest and best use and feasibility studies for large scale redevelopment sites. His experience extends to rental arbitrations, expropriations and assessment appeal work with appearances before various tribunals as an expert witness.

In market research and analysis areas, including research for development financing, he has broad based knowledge of industrial activity throughout the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. His experience ranges from stand-alone/single‑tenant facilities to the entire business park. In this context, industrial includes not only standard warehouse/office facilities but hi-tech research and development projects and suburban office projects. Clients range from small investors to large corporations and the public sector.
